Back-to-Back win for Bala
DEEPAK Lal Bala made it back to back wins in the Bank of Baroda Golden Jubilee National Ranking Championship super premier division in Lautoka yesterday.
The Datec Fiji lead software programmer was on song in the tournament beating former Fiji champion Suman Lal by four straight frames in the final.
Bala showed his class as Fiji’s top snooker player hammering Suman 98-0 in the first frame. This was the biggest winning margin recorded in the two-day event.
He went on to seal the game winning the next three frames 69-56, 70-32 and 43-42.
In the fourth frame Bala was down 25-42 but went on to clear the table to the astonishment of the crowd. Read more…
